A Short History[edit | edit source]

Pac-Man is a very popular arcade game that came out in 1980. Pac-Man was a game that was centered around both genders, giving it tons of popularity. Since then, the game has been adapted onto mobile versions, game system format, and even a few games where you actually run around as Pac-Man and use his nostalgic powers to save the day. The game earned $2.5 billion in quarters by the 1990's.

You play as Pac-Man on a small board with little white dots floating around. The object of the game is to eat all the dots before the ghosts catch you and make you lose a life. Certain fruits can be found during the level and this boosts your points. Also, big white dots are used to frighten your opponets, giving you a chance to devour them and gain extra points.
